Progressive Traffic Management Aims to Make J&K Roads Safer and More Inclusive

In a forward-thinking move, the Traffic Police Headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir has announced a comprehensive traffic plan for January 22, 2025, that prioritizes safety and accessibility for all road users. Assuming weather conditions are favorable, the plan will ensure the smooth movement of light motor vehicles (LMVs) and heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44), enhancing connectivity and reducing carbon emissions by preventing traffic snarls. This initiative reflects a commitment to sustainable and inclusive transportation policies, aligning with progressive values that champion environmental conservation and equitable access to infrastructure.
